Daniel Kenneth om Mormons Bok är sann eller ej
First off, for one to know something, one has to be correct. If one is not correct, one does not know.
Opinions are opinions and facts are facts as long as they are correct of course. But for one to know the taste of salt, one must taste it. Connectin...g this to the Book of Mormon, one must then search and study the book to know if it's true or not and to learn exactly what extent that truth reaches. Whether it's a good story with countless characters intertwined in plot created by an author or whether it was writen by multiple men that lived thousands of years ago and then translated, published, and distributed by a man who claims revelations and the visiting of angels. Whether it teaches one healthy principles like patriotism, and love for the family and fellow man, or whether it teaches the reader that wickedness prevails. Whether it brings one closer to Christ, or not. These truths are to be decided by the reader and can only be decided by their personal understanding. THIS is the logical way to figure it out.
And then we have tangible and intangible knowledge and truth. "Tangible knowledge" one can see, touch, smell, hear, and so on to know of it's truthfulness. If we were to explain things with truth (non-theoretical science, physics, mathematics, etc.). "Intangible knowledge" is something more delicate and is known inside one's self and one feels the truthfulness. We can say the spiritual side of the spectrum. If you believe in the Bible, an example of "intangible knowledge" would be a revelation from the Holy Spirit, or Spirit of Truth. The Spirit of Truth testifies to the soul through feelings and thoughts the truthfulness of ALL things. And based on one's faith, one can thus understand this concept as the key to ALL knowledge. BUT if you don't like to think of it as "spiritual" or in any way involving a "higher power," then think of it as your conscience, like knowing right from wrong.
I KNOW physically and spiritually that the Book of Mormon is true!!!
